Waiting for more than an hour to give a public comment!
Hi! This is my first blog post ever! There are many positive things happening in Missoula's public schools. Unfortunately, however, there has been and continues to be a lot of negative and corrupt actions taking place in Missoula schools, more specifically, in the administration for Missoula County Public Schools. After following MCPS for about 10 years, I thought I would create this blog to vent my frustration! The latest thing to upset me royally is the amount of time one has to wait now in order to make a public comment on a non-agenda item at a school board meeting. I have waited for more than an hour for the last three meetings to make a 3 minute (maximum allowed) public comment! So I have waited approximately 3 and a half hours to speak for 9 minutes. This is crazy!! And, of course, this is happening under the leadership of Toni Rehbein, Board Chairwoman. More about her later. Hey, this is fun. FINALLY, something a little fun connected to school business, which has been h-e-doublesticks (in case any kids are reading this) for years. See you later!
